The Korsteel Hollow Mouth Lightweight 23mm Loose Ring Snaffle Bit - 4 3/4 Inch is very mild and great for everyday use. The light mouthpiece is non-invasive for a young horse and very mild in action. The pressure is felt primarily on the sides of the tongue and the bars of the mouth. The loose rings allow the mouthpiece to slide freely offering a bit of play and movement that many horses enjoy. If a horse wants to naturally lean down and take an undesirable feel on the bit, the amount of play the loose rings gives discourages this. Neutral in taste and odor to the horse. Durable and non-corrosive.
