The Side Reins are used while lunging. Used with a training surcingle or saddle while lunging, it attaches to the girth with either a snap or girth loop. Reins run up through the bit and hook onto the rings of the surcingle or saddle.
The Pessoa training system consists of an easy-to-put-together ropes, clips and pulleys, as well as a breeching strap that passes behind the horse’s hindquarters and is used in conjunction with a training surcingle while the horse is being lunged.
